Saving Horses Thru Rescue and Education
We Speak Up For Horses bound for slaughter and those neglected, abused, or discarded.
With our partner Hobbie Horse Stables, we work with local humane officers in seizure and neglect cases and rescue horses headed to slaughter. Whenever possible, we rehabilitate and rehome these horses.
However, rescue is not enough. We also educate the public about horse slaughter, horse welfare laws, and what it means to be a responsible horse owner. Our work is driven by the belief that education seeds compassion, a life-long commitment to our horses and a respect for life - not just for the lives of these magnificent animals, but also a respect for all life.
Through various programs with Hobbie Horse Stables, we are available to speak to both adult and youth organizations about rescue, horse slaughter, horse legislation, and responsible ownership.
Your donation, however large or small, will help us speak up for horses. Your donation will fund education programs, horse rescue and rehabilitation, and help us buy a farm in Kentucky so we can do our job even better. All donations are tax-deductible since we are a registered non-profit organization.
